Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute schreiben wir mal nicht auf unserem Balkon in Brisbane, sondern von einem Garten in Takaka aus. Takaka ist eine kleine Stadt an der nördlichen Spitze der Südinsel Neuseelands. Die nächste Woche wollen wir mit viel Klettern und Natur verbringen. Wir haben für euch schon die ersten Bilder von unserer Fahrt:

today we don’t write our blog post from our balcony in Brisbane, but from a garden in Takaka. Takaka is a small town in the north of the south island of New Zealand. The next week will be full of climbing and nature. A few first photos are already online:

Hallo ihr Lieben,

Heute darf ausnahmsweise ich (Steffen) mal Blog schreiben, denn ich war fuer zwei Konferenzen in Neuseeland (Auckland und Bay of Islands) und Saskia musste leider zu Hause bleiben – manchmal hat es doch Vorteile nicht mehr PhD Student zu sein :p. Viel anschauen konnte ich mir zwar nicht, aber das wenige hat gereicht um festzulegen, dass wir sehr bald wieder kommen muessen 🙂

Today it’s my (Steffen) turn to write a blogpost as I was in New Zealand (Auckland and Bay of Islands) to visit two conferences. Saskia had to stay at home – so there are indeed advantages of not beeing a PhD student anymore :p. Unfortunately I did not have so much time to explore New Zealand, but it was enough to decide that we have to come back again soon 🙂
